General Introduction: Raytek's 430-700 nm N-BK7 precision plano-convex lens is polished with the master test board to achieve strict tolerances, thus ensuring minimum wavefront distortion to meet the harsh laser electro-optic focusing application scenarios. They are suitable for AR antireflective coatings with a wide bandwidth of AR.14 Coating with 430nm to 700nm.

N-BK7 is an excellent lens material for most visible and near infrared applications. It is the most common borosilicate optical crown glass, which can provide excellent performance and moderate price. Because of its high uniformity, low content of bubbles and inclusions, and easy manufacture, it has become an excellent choice for transmission optical elements. N-BK7 is also relatively hard and has good scratch resistance. The transmission range of BK 7 is 380 to 2100 nm. It is not recommended for temperature sensitive applications such as precision mirrors
